• The burner power should be selected according to the building heat requirement, and not according to the boiler size.
• Boilers are usually oversized. There is a common opinion among the installers that power size calculator of 10 kW per each 100 m2 of area should be used for the heating equipment. That calculator was appropriate for the non-insulated buildings constructed according to traditional technologies.
• It should be remembered that the burner is equipped with the power modulation system and its current power is matched the heat requirement of the boiler.
• The chimney draught should be min.15 Pa when the boiler works. The chimney should be airtight and made of heat resistant materials. (The system chimneys with the ceramic insert are recommended). Spacing between the burner hearth and the boiler shell should be min. 150-200 mm
• Remove the old burner.
• Mark and cut a hole in the boiler door for the new burner.
• Drill mounting holes in the boiler door to fix the burner to the door.
• Fix the burner and check for correct sealing between the door and the burner.
• Connect the controller.
• Connect the burner to the feeder that should be located in the pellet hopper.
• Install the chimney draught regulator.
• Install the device for return water temperature increasing.

Advantages:

• Heating system does not require reconstruction.
• Investment is not expensive.
• It is easy to return to the old system.
• Reduction of heating costs.
• Possibility of installing the “right” pellet boiler in future.

Disadvantages:

• Operations connected with the boiler maintenance – burner cleaning, boiler cleaning, ash removal.
• Boiler power reduction to 60%.
• Not so efficient as the right pellet boiler.
